These digital videos were developed for social media to help drive a larger campaign. I developed the concept, selected the clips, created the text animations and edited it all together. Some of the concepts are pretty complex so I wanted to create a style that was easy to understand and digest quickly while also being entertaining to keep your attention.

Logo and Label Design

Rescue Me Candle Company is small business with a big heart. They needed a logo to label their candles as well as other merch. I created the flat illustration paw and text style and developed templates so they could add candle names at will.

The Maryland Hawgsters are a local fishing club that wanted a logo. I created a flat illustration style so it was easy to understand and versatile. They were excited for this opportunity to help bring the club together by branding their club materials as well as t-shirts and hats.

Based on the subject matter and period of this book, the cover design was begging for a very distressed look and feel. As well as as plays on period fonts and art styles.

Concept and Design

Redracer was an indie pop band that I had the privilege of becoming friends with over the years. Really cool group of guys for sure. So when it was time to release an album I was honored to be tasked with the job of designing it. I was pretty much left to my own devices and after a few rounds came up with something we all really dug for the cover. After I nailed that down I just extended the artwork throughout the packaging and added the song list and the lyrics. Did a simple flood of white with dark red text on the actual CD and there you have it. Definitely a cool project to be a part of.

I was hired by the president of Seneca to help out with his branding. He has a great remodeling company that does anything from high end to handy man and everything in-between. Ben wanted a logo and some accompanying materials. I worked closely with him throughout the design process and really took his thoughts to heart. We settled on something that was very simple yet elegant as well as contemporary. After I finalized the logo I worked on the stationary package and even applied what I had done to some fun collateral material like a hoodie.

CAPture Belonging is an initiative created by the president of the American Association of Children and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).

I designed a logo for a t-shirt and collateral materials. They wanted a real sense of belonging and inclusion. I used rainbow colors in the circle of clasped arms circling a heart to demonstrate that concept.

It has spun into “CAPture Membership” and they have plans for it to spin into a few more things to help drive the initiative.

Concept, Shoot and Edit

When Greenfield Belser began to think of re-designing their website they definitely wanted to include more video. I thought some employee videos would be a really great place to incorporate some. In the interview I really wanted to capture a story. Something honest. I didn’t want to hear the same old stuff so I encouraged everyone to try to think of a story that would be easy to tell and that would be really authentic. The purpose after all I think is to “get to know” these people a little better.

I shot it with three cameras over a few days and did the editing as well. They turned out nice and will be a great addition to the new and improved site.

Casus Belli Books is an emerging book publisher. The term is an ancient Latin expression meaning “An act or event that provokes or is used to justify war”

I designed their logo and website. The owner/author is a big history buff so we wanted to capture that vibe.

I designed the cover for the novel Plagued, with Guilt which is dark historical fiction.

As a side project I created a video promo for Plagued, with Guilt as well as a t-shirt.

I was hired to create several videos for Zero to Three’s virtual event. I also recreated their opener and closer.
